Introduction

There is insufficient attention to rainbow young people in mental health research. Also, there is much less attention to the mental wellbeing of rainbow Chinese young people. Previous research has shown that ethnic minority cultures (e.g. Chinese, Maori, and Pacific) may sometimes help their youngsters battle against discrimination and social stigma pertaining to their rainbow status.

About this study

We would like your views to help us improve counseling & therapy for rainbow Chinese young people. We are running a series of interviews and survey in the department of Psychological Medicine at the University of Auckland. Alternative locations can be arranged upon your request.

If you are interested in participation, please email/phone us directly or leave a message in the feedback form / guestbook. I will contact you to discuss your participation as soon as posible.
